INFORMATION REGARDING ALL OF OUR FOOD DRIVES

WHAT we distribute...

​

  • GROCERIES
    Monday & Friday mornings we work in collaboration with the Garfield YMCA, GPD Community Affairs, as well as Strangers Helping Strangers to pack & distribute boxes or bags of groceries for families in need.

  • MEALS
    Fridays evenings at 6pm we have free meals prepared for members of our community courtesy of Sri Guru Singh Sabha Glen Rock Gurdwara and local Garfield businesses for pick-up and delivery.

    Sunday afternoons at 2pm we have free meals prepared for members of our

    local Garfield businesses     for pick-up ONLY.

WHERE we distribute...

  • Mondays
    Parking Lot Behind the Garfield Boy’s & Girl’s Club
    (Elizabeth St. Entrance)

  • Fridays
    Parking Lot for the Garfield YMCA
    (Outwater Lane Branch)

WHEN we distribute or deliver...

​

  • GROCERIES
    Monday and Friday mornings depending on donation arrival.

    Our food donors only provide us with a delivery window of 8am and 12pm so we're often not sure when exactly the food will arrive. We do our best to communicate via Facebook and Instagram when it is we are ready to distribute. We ask that you please be patient with the volunteers as they work through the line of cars.

  • MEALS

    • Friday Nights 6pm at the YMCA

    • Sunday Afternoon Meals 2pm - 3pm with prior delivery request only.

FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED, WHILE FOOD LASTS.

NO ONE WILL BE PERMITTED TO WAIT IN THE PARKING LOT AHEAD OF TIME.

HOW we distribute...

  • Drive By or Walk Up when you see the ‘Food is Here’ post on our social media.

  • Request a Delivery, if you cannot access transportation or leave your home, by putting your order in on Sundays through the form linked in our bio. You'll be able to pick the days we have available for a delivery between 11am and 2pm.

WHO we distribute to...

This service is for Garfield Residents ONLY. First Come, First Served. We have recently started Spot Checking people's IDs so we recommend having them ready.

We are neighbors caring for our neighborhood.
